My Story

“New Life Midlife was born from my own midlife awakening.”

For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me.

I was the “good girl.”
The one who didn’t cause trouble.
The one who kept the peace.
The one who held everything together.

But underneath that… I was quietly exhausted.
Disconnected from myself.
And secretly wondering if this was all life was meant to be.

I didn’t arrive at midlife burned out by accident.
It was the result of a lifetime of adapting, surviving, and trying to be who I thought I needed to be to stay safe, loved, and accepted.

As a child, I learned early that being “naughty” meant being sent away.
That belief settled deep.
So I became the follower.
The pleaser.
The one who tried not to get it wrong.

That pattern followed me into adulthood — relationships, work, identity.

Then in 2011, my world cracked open.

My husband left without warning.
Later, I learned he had been living a secret life I knew nothing about.
It shattered my sense of reality, trust, and self-worth.

I didn’t just lose a marriage.
I lost who I thought I was.

That moment became the beginning — not the end.

I entered therapy.
I faced depression.
I learned about subconscious beliefs, trauma patterns, nervous system responses, and the quiet ways we abandon ourselves to stay connected to others.

Slowly, I began to understand:

I wasn’t broken.
I was patterned.

And once I could see the pattern — I could change it.

Over the years that followed, I rebuilt my life from the inside out.
Not through hype or hustle.
But through awareness, compassion, and conscious choice.

Today, I live what I call Superconscious Living —
a way of being where we learn to notice what’s driving us, meet ourselves kindly, and choose differently instead of reacting automatically.

  • I’m still learning.
  • Still growing.
  • Still becoming.

And that’s exactly why I created New Life Midlife.

Not as an expert talking down.
But as a woman walking beside you, saying:

“I’ve been there. And there is another way.”
